Do I need to Purchase Soundbox?
No, Soundbox is entirely free to use on both Desktop and the iPad, giving you instant access to all the libraries you already own – from our own collections or from third-party developers.
Enjoy a seamless workflow, importing your libraries to both iPad and desktop in just a few clicks – and start creating wherever inspiration hits.
Can I import my own Sounds?
By using Soundbox as a free player, all features are unlocked and fully functional, except for the Sample & Mapping editor, which allows you to import & edit your own sounds and create your own bespoke Instruments. The Sample & Mapping editor can be unlocked through the settings tab, by entering a license key that comes with any paid Audiomodern Soundbox Instrument.
How can I unlock Soundbox?
Soundbox can be unlocked using the license key provided with any paid Audiomodern Soundbox Instrument purchase.
Free or third-party Soundbox Instruments do not include a license key and, while they can be used without limitations, they do not unlock Soundbox’s sample and mapping editor.
Can I create my Own Custom Virtual Intruments?
Absolutely. In addition to playing our virtual instrument libraries, Soundbox allows you to create your own custom virtual instruments with extensive customization options. You can design and tweak every aspect of your instruments to suit your creative needs. Once you’ve created your custom instruments, you can export and share them with other Soundbox users without any additional cost. This flexibility makes Soundbox a powerful tool for both utilizing our libraries and unleashing your creativity.
Are there Soundbox Instruments made by third-party developers?
Yes. Soundbox supports a wide range of third-party libraries as well, from talented developers across the internet.
The platform’s ecosystem isn’t limited to just Audiomodern’s official libraries. You don’t need the full paid version to use third-party instruments – simply import the library and start playing.
